That was an insane ride by Sofiane. It does seem like the ‘shorter’ races will encourage more extreme pacing strategies. Just a guess, but I would think it will create a higher scratch rate among the front runners, and also a bigger gap between those willing to risk everything and the ‘normal’ people.
