Sofiane said he had hard time staying awake and that the track was frusturating and slowgoing all the way to the finish. In his instagram.
It' impressive to pull off that in a race like that, especially in the first edition, as you don't know what the route is like and how long it will take. Much easier to plan ahead in a race that stays on paved roads.

Sofiane just approaching the line now.
James got the gap down through night to about 2 hours. He should finish 8:30-9ish. Jay following fairly closely behind too, so looks like Sofiane was fading - or maybe he only did what he had to do.
An exciting finish! If James hadn't lost that hour with his valve yesterday, it probably wouldn't have made any difference but it would have put more pressure on Sofiane.
