Last year, Apple sold ten million more watches than the entire Swiss watch industry combined.

There is a Seamaster that looks close to the Railmaster dial wise but is less common called the Ranchero. This does come with a sub seconds and also with out.
Was only produced for two years.
Really nice piece.

I’m all about the SLA035. Absolute banger.
Just saw, that's amazing, and I'm kicking myself getting back into this topic.
And then;
$2,900
Lol, no thank, I'm sticking with my £65 Seiko.

It didn't do well in spain due to the name translating as "ranch hand". I think it was seen as some sort of peasant unfortunately.

Ranchero

Yeah. I started out that way.
£80 Seiko as first mechanical watch
£350 on the last one. If you have ever had a drug habit this is acceptable version.

So is an SKX007 still the light entry option or should I take a gamble on something like the Phantom on Kickstarter by the folks at Hamtun?

Still love my SKX007 as it’s pretty timeless.

ha! funny as it immediately made me think of Rancho Relaxo

Ranchero is a cool watch but notoriously faked. As mentioned it was a commercial flop in no small part because of the name and nice examples are getting really tough to find.... this one was at the last T4AP in London, cracking strap choice.
Also talking of GS GMT watches I think this limited edition black ceramic beast is f’ing lovely (SBGE039G).

Ha. I've just spaffed my watch budget on the SARB Alpinist.
Back to saving £3K for the Tudor.

It's a great watch. I was lucky enough to get one off here.

...perhaps I should start fishing...anyone looking to step up and fancy passing one on!?
The 57 trilogy one is so shiny. Too shiny, I'm gonna say.
