Do you want them for real deep sketchy mud, or mixed terrain rides?
The best mud tyres I've used have always been a real chore on the road

Hans Dampf is a contender if you want an all year round tyre that can handle mud and isn't unbearable on anything else.
Specialised Ground Control looks good too, never used em though :)

I have a set of WTB Velociraptors, 26x2.1", for tubes. Pretty similar to the Smoke/Dart combo.

May I venture in here quickly and ask what are the best and cheapest 26in mud tyre (tubed)? I have been recommened Maxxis High Roller and Panaracer Smoke / Dart. This is for an old ass MTB so they don't need to support ultimate radness, just good grip in muck and wet leaves / roots. Many fanks in advance
