Cool, never seen this one before.

That’s forum member approved x2 now so I’m hopeful.
I stuck a normal length stem and some risers on it and did some loops of my living room/kitchen and it felt pretty good. Will keep it 26 for the moment and try a shorter a2c fork to make it a bit more road friendly.

Sounds great - I'll dig out some photos of mine for inspiration 👌

Balance bike? ;)
Looks good man. Crazy lug design.
How's this generation 105?

Had some ratty dmr pedals from the workshop I put on boss... r7000 is excellent.

Odd option but look at Tokyo Bike Bisou. All 26" wheels, mixtes and built for shorter riders.

Not insanely expensive either. Depends on the riding she wants to do longer term, but it would be an improvement over gas pipe and not as £££ as custom painted Soma.

Nice Rockhopper. Any plans, already looks great as is?

Cheers, excellent suggestion. Have asked them if they'd be willing to sell just a frameset...

• #125238
That's lovely

Genesis Brixton? Heavily discounted IIRC.

Those Tokyo bikes are really poor quality though. Frame is ok but all the components are dead within 2 years

Genesis Brixton
700c and standard frame - the request was for 26" and Mixte and small
-
• #125242
I can't speak for the component quality. Just throwing out ideas for consideration given the request.
My other half is 5'4" and we have gone through this a few times. Surly do a few 650b wheeled smaller frames (Straggler and maybe one more) as do one or two other bike makers.

• #125243
Yeah, I have a full set of much better quality components already. I've asked them if they'd sell a frameset on its own but they don't seem keen.
-
• #125244
Temple Cycles sell a framset, though it is for 700c and the small size isn't all that small..
(I have a similar problem with finding a frameset for my other half - she's 5'2")
I'm leaning towards getting her a Marin Nicasio and putting 650b wheels on it. -

470 seat tube, 524 top tube and swept back bars, definitely built for a smaller rider...

• #125247
Probably worth adding here then

Good man, will do in a bit!

What's going on with your fd cable routing? looks interesting

Lovely. What's that stem?
