Greggs still not sponsoring you then?

Also here's Sofiane's bike from last year's TD, the same bike he's riding now.
And @skinny 's bike is probably mostly like it was in SRMR, though the more expensive model of the same bike.
The terrain looks mostly like such a middle ground for the bikes that it might be down to preferences, as long as the tyres are at least 47 or something. With thick sidewalls. Liam was riding a mtb with tubes.

While having a team meeting and feeding a baby I had the rest of the interview on in the background. He is blind like any other influencer to social media, desperate to leverage it to create "stories" and aghast when he finds out he isnt in full control of the comment section(s). The only wise thing he said was that it was a 'teenager' spat. Not sure if he meant it this way but shows that maybe deep down he knows it's a bunch of micro-influencers argued about the 'correct' way to compete in a non-race which is non-organised. Do you think Petervary melted down all his Cowbells at the local cremetorium, or just stuck them on Butte Montana Facebook Marketplace - No Rules group

Race leader Sofiane Sehili just came through CP2. Still no sleep and no plans to do so. With Christian Meier scratching because of saddle sores, he's opened up a solid lead over the chasing pack. When we asked if he was happy, he answered: "Yes, I'm first."

this is next level of non stop riding in an ultra race. I cant think of anyone in recent memory who has been out the front and slept less. He's gotta finish it off though and Skinny is catching up.

Jure Robic? He was the king!
-
• #92
Granted he had a support team, but his riding on zero sleep ability was insane.
-
• #93
Supported and unsupported racing are different beasts. He was a monster though.

I really wish there had been the amount of mtb/gravel ultra endurance races there are now when he was still alive. He was a great mtber too so it would have been awesome to see how he would have done.

Yusuke Ochiai in Japanese Odyssey had huge stints like this with little stopping, 100 hours or so. Crazy stuff. The bunch looks to be tightening up behind skinny. We might get some in-fighting slowing them all down? Sofiane has a few hours to play with perhaps?

Maybe another joint win.

They had a few hours between them in Italy divide too, when Sofiane pushed through the snow and James took a hotel.

4/5h between them at the moment.. Also a few decent climbs await in the second part of the race!
Better pic on Apidura’s account.
