Back with opinions on the Burton step on stuff. Ridden them for a week on and off piste ie hard pack and powder and no technical issues at all, clicking in and getting out of them is easy after a few runs. Boots are of course stiffer than normal boots but only a little. I did get a few hot spots though and pressure on my pinky toe so my verdict is the same as other reviews I've read - make sure the boots are a very good fit for you, the system itself is fine.
