I might be wrong here, but that last image of the fat guy could be from a book called "Dublin Pub Life and Lore" by misty eyed American academic Kevin C Kearns. In it he documents many now-gone pubs, populated by what he termed "jolly pintmen", i.e. raging alcoholics with enormous guts. That picture I'm fairly certain is in the photos section.
