The misogynistic and mocking memes are overlooked as long as they are from a long time/prolific poster. Therefore it must be the same for other nasty. Not saying it is right, just what is. Stopped going on that thread a while ago. If you want memes reddit is your best bet as that where they all come from anyway.

It wasn't benign moaning. When they posted homophobic jokes in the memes thread and I said I was disappointed, as a gay man, they then proceeded to post five videos of Friday by Rebecca Black and multiple crap identical memes in what to me was a pretty obvious attempt to bury my comment and stifle debate. Which given that I was essentially complaining about being made to feel less than welcome on this forum wasn't very nice.
They then followed up with a nasty, transphobic meme. So if you're standing with TKsaladd you're standing with homophobia and transphobia. Which I find personally disappointing as I thought you were better than that.
Most of the time I find them fine but it's pretty hard to overlook casual homo/transphobia.
