The Apple refurb store is a good place to find upgraded spec configs (e.g. larger SSDs) that don’t exist in other channels.

I’d be pretty suspicious of stuff about these other sellers, whoever they might be. Apple is pretty strict about who they sell new stuff through, and are a big target for fraud and scams.

Thanks for the thoughts, yea seems like a good idea to get the higher spec configurations from there.
I just need a base model though; here in Germany this is €1250 from Apple, €1060 from Apple refurbished - and you can get a new one sealed in box for around that price (and not talking about dodgy online shops you have never heard of before but big chains like what John Lewis is in the UK).

Do you have Media Markt etc in Germany? I usually find these chains keeps their prices 10% ish below apple. You’ll still get all apple warranties etc (double check that though)
