Im the same height and same inseam. I went for an L frame (Kona Unit) as the main purpose of this bike is multiple weeks off road touring. Can’t say I regret it, the frame fits really well and there’s balance between handlebar and saddle height. Probably would pick an M if I was planning riding more aggressively on the trails.

Second question: when looking at geometry I always fall in between M or L. I’m 178cm and 83 cm inseam. Think of running wathever I buy with a Jones bar. Might that push me towards L more? I’ve got an old mtb lying around but it’s been so long ago I’ve ridden it I don’t even know if it has good geo for me 😅
