Some residents of Surrey want an end to the one day a year of some car free roads. Surrey are holding a consultation which ends 16 Feb. Don't need to be a Surrey resident to answer.

It has some questions about local charities that benefit. Surrey's group of Wheels for Wellbeing are a good example.

Entries are being announced this week. Though from the look of their facebook page there has been a pretty big GDPR cock up with people receiving the pack to their address on the front, but the cover letter lists a different name and address with congratulations inside.

I wouldn't mind if the event moved to Kent or Essex. Fuck Surrey, they don't deserve to host a high profile cycling event. Lanes in Essex and Kent are better anyway. The residents don't want it and I never enjoyed cycling in Surrey in the daylight. The sense of entitlement by drivers was always wider than space available.

Yeah that's what mine is still saying. I think that site should be updated by Thursday and emails should be out by then too from what I could see on places online. It may be that people who have a place have some other information on the site now though I'm not sure.
