I can vouch for how great these are. I had a pair on my commuter for years and they never cracked or split through rain and shine.

Lovely guards. How long is the front guard? It looks quite short (not extending very far forward) but that could be just the angle of the photos perhaps?

If its not a daft question, what length is a short/medium/full coverage front/rear guard, and how does this compare to a standard SKS bluemels?

Aww, cheers Jo!

Hey Dan,
Yes on my bike the front doesn't extend far forward (~150mm). And the ones for sale were mostly designed before big clearances were fashionable, so they were meant to stop behind the fork crown. Having said that, they are mostly un-drilled so could be setup differently if the bike will allow. Is there a set in particular you'd like measurements of? -

No not at all...
I'm updating the original post now with lengths and widths...

Bump and a quid off everything...

They are amazing. Look nicer than my PDW ones. Can you make new ones?

Cheers! No I'm afraid not -- I don't really have the time anymore.

Photos aren't working for me for some reason, have you got a link to them?
-

That's weird -- you can see the photos here http://liam-h.com/woodguards/ -- they are probably roughly in the same order as the forum post descriptions too...

Working now, not sure why they weren't before. I'm PMing you

2 quid off everything, and a bump

My woodguards arrived the other day and they are really, really nice. As well as a rear mudflap I got one of the offcuts, which I'm going to turn into some shorty 'wheelbrow' style mudguards for a Rourke I'm building up. Liam, hopefully my shaky woodwork skills won't make a mess of your craftsmanship...

Any offcuts that could be made into a seatmounted mudguard?
-

Hey Joshua -- the mudflaps at the top of the post could definitely be used like this. I used to mount them like the below (though this isn't my image)... so that one end braces against the seat tube and is bolted to the seat stay bridge.

Updated Sold items. Down to last three full sets... price drop a fiver on them.
EDIT: Everything now sold.
Hi all,A few years ago I used to make wooden mudguards from laminated hardwoods that I was selling online and in a few bike shops. Anyway, in a recent clear out I found a whole bunch left over. Some are seconds (they might have a slight twist to them), some have been briefly used, and some are a bit mix and match. I figured I would put them on here to see if there was any interest, maybe they would make good Christmas presents.
They are treated with (many) coats of tung oil, which can be topped up if you like, whenever they loose their shine. I can provide a wee jar of the stuff.
Happy to post at cost (flaps around £3, full sets, £5), Christmas delivery cut off is the 18th . I am based in Brockley (SE London) if you would like to collect/take a look too.
I tend to use velo-orange stays, that are on eBay for around £12. If there is some interest I’m happy to buy a batch and supply at cost.
I will supply nicely laser cut mounting brackets for attaching to brake bridges (will add photos of these options too).
This is roughly what they look like mounted (this is my round-town-retired-mountain-bike-commuter-thing), which would be incredibly ugly without wooden bits:
