I did some disability awareness training at a supermarket job when I were a student.
The most memorable one was being blindfolded and led round to learn us not leave restocking trolleys and boxes littering the aisles. We did deaf too but that just reinforced the policy of showing a customer to where the product they were asking for was, leaving your restocking trolley littering the aisle while you were gone for some poor blind person to collide with.
I suppose HIV awareness training would be to lead a perfectly normal life using medication to control the virus.
If pretending to be homeless by acting it out for a night is somebody's way of campaigning for the homeless, then the equivalent for HIV or disability is... ?
