Plastic tubs from the local candy shop are decent for brakes, shifters and such. Smaller stuff like nuts/bolts, seatclamps and cable guides go in the steel/plastic organiser (I have 4 more still empty). Seatposts, saddles and cranksets go into larger stackable plastic boxes that fit on the adjustable shelving in the cupboards.

I'm planning some drawers with foam inlays for the seldom used tools such as bearing presses and tapping tools.
It looks like I'll be moving to a larger shop this summer. Insulated and heated. So I might reorganise some of the tool storage to be modular and moveable. -

The Specialized Sirrus was supposed to be a bad weather bike, but with clearance like this (that's a 25c tyre) that's not going to happen. Have now been stripped of parts and hung up.

The Lava Dome is going on loan to my brother in law. Removed the red logos/stickers and gave it a quick service. One less bike to take up space in the garage...

The above meant that it was time to add some bounce to my Unit: A NOS Rockshox Recon. Might even put on gears again at some point, but for now it'll stay single speed.
The front caliper is slightly draggy, but that'll have to be corrected with some thin washers of which I have none.

I recently installed two of these wide enough apart to hang drop bars on the centre part, risers sit in there nicely too. They are made by smith and locke. I'm sure theres other varieties.

Not a bad idea. I might just do a DIY version with a shelf bracket and some wood.

Putting brakes with threaded IS mounts on a PM fork is annoying. Especially if said brakes are second hand with slightly fucked threading...

Got the dadbike sorted. Will build a dynamo front wheel for it at some point. Have the lights for it already, so might as well.

Next up is the Brexit Bike: Raleigh Royale Sport GT. Nothing is stuck, the wheels are good, but it's got some crusty parts. I've pulled of the rear rack and mudguard, the kickstand and the chainguard already. The plastic caps on the crank bolt are fucked and stuck, so I'll break out the angle grinder and get going...

The Alpina 5.5 is coming along nicely. I picked ud a pair of 26" mudguards on clearance without noticing how short they were. I need to sort a bottom bracket, but everything else is ready.
