Yeah that's the gist of it - pre cursa fits 35c in the back no bother! You fancying coming across? It should be a laugh, might be a disaster

Tempted, I put some silly wide bars & a slightly treaded tyre on my Graham Weigh. Need a lower gear & less flexy stem still though.

Bought this giant chaos a couple weeks ago, mainly because it was cheap and has a nice forkcrown. Today I built it up with parts bin parts, a chinese NW chainring and schwalbe table tops. Quite happy with the result so far :) rear brake cable is awkwardly routed and will be sorted soon, same goes for the bar plugs.

Had a similar Giant, was a lovely bike, and lovely craftsmanship on those fork crowns indeed. Solid beater!

Hehe, I‘m not looking to sell it atm :) But I can definitely recommend building sth like it. Total cost has been around 130€ and it‘s loads of fun. Keeping it 7 speed keeps down the cost considerably.
@Hulsroy cheers, the bar plugs have been sorted before the shakedown ride.
@gaston it‘s not NOS but in great condition indeed. It‘ll go on my jan janssen as it is too nice for a beater like the giant.Couple more pics from today.

Thanks, indeed road frame from them isn't sth obvious.
With 28c rubber and full carbon fork it is suprisingly comfortable (besides custom geo). Although cable guides were fucked up and had to do new ones also there were only holes without thread for bottle cages -> @russmeyer -

I have my eBay kleinanzeigen suche saved. -

Hopefully more hack than bodge. Used a mending plate to get SKS mudguards much closer to the tyre on the Arkose.

Does anyone know what the added height of a Chris King inset 7 will be above the crown race instead of an inset 1 headset? Can't really seem to find any measurements online.

Does your commute take in Elephant and Castle? I think I spotted a similar set up last week.
Tracklocross? Saw that someone over in Manchester was setting up a race.
