Pictured is my CAAD10 54cm. I’m 177ish, though would need to check inseam. I’d say you might be pushing it unless you are seriously flexible.

I think they'd be OK with a 120mm stem personally. I wasn't the most flexible but I also ran a 52cm CAAD9 slammed.

52cm CAAD9
54cm CAAD7

I'm 180cm and ride a 54cm S6, which has similar geometry. Works for me, but you might need a longer stem to avoid feeling a bit cramped. If you're unsure, try before you buy.

I'm 1,82 m and had several caad10. Always a 56 with 120 mm stem. For really fast rides, I think 54 will be too little for you.

The Saeco CAAD 4 I accidentally bought on eBay arrived. I have stripped it, looks really good except for a tiny bit of paint bubbling on the headtube and fork crown, and a few other scratches. Frame and fork are definitely solid. I don’t usually like red bikes but this one is great! It is a frame size 52 so I’m just slightly worried it is a tiny bit too big for me, but I will wait and see.
It came complete with almost all the original parts including CODA hubs, brakes and cranks. I have no need for these, in case anyone needs them I have advertised them here:

Plan is for a rebuild probably with SRAM Rival, Mavic Ksyriums and maybe a carbon seatpost, I will post updates...

I just came across this CAAD 6 Team Saeco and I was wondering whether the CAAD3/4 geo was a bit more square than the one of the CAAD6?
The CAAD 6 looks fairly low but stretched
Is it just me or maybe the small frame size?
Cheers

I’m pretty sure it’s just the small frame size and short head tube making the top tube look longer. If you look at the old catalogs:
https://vintagecannondale.com/catalog/
Older CAADs had very similar if not identical geometry

Yeah you are probably right...
However many thanks to remind my of those great catalogues!
In the 1997 catalogue I just found the stem i need for my to-be-acquired caad3/saeco (welded quill).
Can anyone ID it plxx?

Anything different on the new hollowgram si cranks aside from the logo?
Doesn’t look different apart from the gopping logo but I’ve not seen one in the flesh.
I'm 174cm, 31" inseam (approx 80cm) and had a 54cm CAAD7 and CAAD10. 110cm stems on both and the right amount of seat post for the frame style
