Wow .. how to lose a few hours .
I really liked this , you’re right it’s all sold out but you can get the black with whitish grey batons for 10% off rrp in uk .
So after spending a few hours lost in the new to me world of G shock I ordered one up .
I never knew much about the History or how collected they were . -

I'm looking for a bit of advice please. I found a watch that I like on eBay (Longines Admiral 5-Star Automatic Diver). But the seller is lying about how long he has owned it for... (he bought it 3 months ago (eBay completed items history), and is saying that he's owned it for a year). I politely called him out on it, and he's ignoring the question / saying that it'll sell whether its to me or someone else.. Is it a reasonable deal at £420? or would I do best to avoid the seemingly dishonest/dodgy seller? - his IG is: ni_addictive_guy2182

How much did he buy it for 3 months ago?

If you have to ask the question you know the answer.

Wow great price for that. Probably their best watch

£400

True.
It's just really frustrating, and forum backing / rationalizing will make the decision easier. -

The dealer at T3 WoS says that now I've bought two watches she can start working towards getting my Rollie GMT. Prolly bullshit though.

‘Working towards ‘ sounds like another couple of tudors to me lol. Did they have the tudor GMT on a bracelet in T3? They didn’t have it T2

Depends.
Have they lied about it? If so avoid.
It's hardly unreasonable to say; "bought it and didn't like it/need the cash/etc." and then say the price is higher because; a) he got a bargain, and b) needs to factor in Paypal and postage, etc.
If they've just ignored your msg, then I don't think there's anything inherently dodgy. But as Howard said, if you've got a bad feeling you've already got the answer.

Nope. Didn't see it. Wasn't really looking TBF as I've seen it before and there's something off about it for me.
The Seamaster 300 looked tidy.

I really like the new sandy yellow Casio but I do wish it was solar powered.

New G-Shocks are all a bit tacticool
-
• #41694
Yeah,no excuse for not having solar these days, loads of their watches are already solar powered, so the tech exists (in £60 watches as well as £1500)

I have a feeling my question got lost on the previous page. Or maybe it just isn’t interesting at all...

Its why Sumo likes it...

Yeah the red text is a bit cheesy but looks good. The off white lume swerves being fauxtina for me just because there’s no way you could mistake the Pelagos for a vintage watch. It’s way too crisp and modern.

Have you looked at the completed ebay listings?
They will give a better guide than any opinions.

New G-Shocks are all a bit tacticool
Weren't they always?
I like them.
TBH I think of tacticool as being more paracord, pocket knives and embassy pens. The back-on-black one fits that bill, but to me the black with white markets reminder me more of a dive watch aesthetic, which I think is why it's the first I've really liked to the point of thinking about buying one.
It has red on it doesn't it?
...and a slight faux lume. 😎
