Ah thanks. No, well not yet anyway but by all accounts it’s a hell of a piece of kit. Current thinking though is that I’d like an integrated DAC/streamer and possibly amplifier because I’m getting bored of having a collection of little boxes which need switching in the correct combination before listening.
I’m thinking about spending more than I’m really comfortable with on the Brooklyn Bridge and matching power amp for the sake of a neat solution and a big performance upgrade. I bought my gear 20 years ago at a similarly stretched level of investment and have never regretted it. Adapting that kit to make the best of streaming audio is all a bit messy, a fully integrated solution is very appealing right now.

In home system news I moved the bigger speakers into the living room and they’ve been given approval. So I went from them being too big for the kitchen, swapping them for small ones which sounded crap, moving the setup to the lounge (much better, still not satisfying) to putting the big ones in and finally being really happy with it.
Who recommended the Topping DAC to me a couple of weeks ago? Looking at the D70, seems to be getting universal praise.
