How are the new cabinets supported? That suspended floor looks pretty lively. IME putting a paving slab below can help isolate them and clarify the bass.

There’s 4kg of sand in a chamber at the bottom, I made little steel outrigger feet with spikes too - very stable. Handily our shabby chic / shitey Victorian floorboards hide all the holes when I’ve been fiddling with position 🤫

Gad I remember floorboards like that. Some of em I even nailed down myself, with 6" cut nails. But that was long, long ago. Nice work with the steel stand, and no doubt the sand helps.
