London is an exception when it comes to pollen though. Typically, London seems to get pollens way before the reat of the country. Birch in Febraury, for example.
And it's been mild winter, and we're in a heat island.
There are plants shooting & budding already, so a bit of pollen maybe isn't that farfetched.
