Ouch! Was that just from falling over, or did the wheel get caught in the top of the escalator somehow?

No, it got properly jammed under the runners. He was lucky it wasn’t his foot.

Funny thing is, it’s his partner’s bike and he’s not actually told her yet. Possibly because he had her Trek ebike stolen last year too. I suspect she won’t be best pleased.
