Thanks for the advice. I’ll do that. It’s not ideal as the bikes going into it are precious and I’m scared of spiders, but I ride less than 100 miles on these ones each year and they are taking up a lot of room in what will shortly be an open plan room. I like that you can have shelves in there.
Although it will fit at the side of the house, it will only just. And then I wouldn’t be able to get the bikes in and out, so it will sit in plain view of french doors, which is a bit of a pain but can’t be helped.
They have front entry style ones too that may better suit your space.
Ours is on the front of the house and under CCTV and no one has ever tried to get into it. It's not that it's inpenetrable, just really hard, noisy, time-consuming work to try to get into. There are easier targets than ours.
Yes, on further consideration, this might be better. And I think I’ll fit three in there. I don’t think there’s a security risk, rather I don’t like the idea of the bikes being in a damp atmosphere.
