Thanks for the advice. I’ll do that. It’s not ideal as the bikes going into it are precious and I’m scared of spiders, but I ride less than 100 miles on these ones each year and they are taking up a lot of room in what will shortly be an open plan room. I like that you can have shelves in there.
Although it will fit at the side of the house, it will only just. And then I wouldn’t be able to get the bikes in and out, so it will sit in plain view of french doors, which is a bit of a pain but can’t be helped.
We bought direct and paid for the installation. The installation was worth every penny. The panels are heavy and awkward and tricky to setup. There is value in having a couple of experienced guys show up and knock it up in an hour or so. Much faster than anything I could do.
