There's a lot of interesting research out there on how to hack visual recognition systems using precisely targeted adversarial attacks. Very theoretical in some respects but there are examples of transparent overlays onto traffic signs that cause self-driving vehicles to misclassify the sign: i.e. stop signs are seen as yield signs.
That being said, dazzle face camo should be hugely effective for quite some time.
