As much as I’m against Big Brother per se, I’m all for a club or bar having ID and facial recognition of anyone and everyone who might ruin my night.
I understand that on a local level but what is the difference between a bar having face recognition and nationwide Police face recognition?
It is, to be fair, the thin edge of the wedge.
Being ID’d regardless of age is okay with me - it helps with the ‘banned from one banned from all’ agreement to try keep out the worst offenders. I’ve had my ID scanned in a number of places back when I still had a social life.
