anyone know which Shimano post-mount calipers will work with 105 R 7010 hydraulic shifters/brake levers?
(thanks Bombtrack for using the mtb-standard on your gravel bikes, allowing not even a GRX group to be fitted them)

Email Exposure. They'll either send a replacement, or ask you to post it back and they'll fit one. Might cost a few quid but cheaper than a new light.

Call the network before you pay for anything, often they do it for free

I'd just whack some SLX or XT on there, RS785 used to ship with BH59 hoses but that chart says to use BH90 like the lever would, latest SLX and XT ship with BH90 anyway and they all have 22mm pistons.

Thanks. It's a US phone which I can't remember if it is unlocked. So was just wondering if it something I could do myself.

Cheers. Will get in touch.

Echoing @andy_k
Exposure customer service tends to be great so contact them.

Could well be. I don't know about Apple but lots of Android phones can be unlocked by connecting up to your computer and running either an all in one unlocker or a series of commands (I'd recommend the latter if you have a choice).
XDA is a good website for info.

Client keeps overpaying me. Getting quite frustrating. They paid an invoice twice in November. I paid it back when alerted in December. They paid it again later in December. I paid it back in December. They sent me a "payment voucher" with a separate invoice I was due to receive and a line reading "duplicate payment received back". But instead of just acknowledging that they received it they paid both. So AGAIN, I have far too much money in my account. Tempted to just keep it as payment for admin fee for doing all this nonsense.
Presuming it's not taxable?

Presuming it's not taxable?
-
• #100515
It's not taxable (assuming you're paying it back) but keeping it when you know it's an overpayment is very much frowned upon from a legal perspective.
-
• #100516
Would it be worth letting them know that further erroneous payments will be subject to a XX% admin charge?
-
• #100517
They actually owe me an even larger figure not yet due and the first time they overpaid they owed another similar figure so I suggested just keeping it and letting them pay the difference but I don't think I'll bother this time in an effort to minimise confusion. Will just transfer back and send them yet another note.
Obvs won't keep it : ) just like thinking what I could spend it on.

Thought about it but they're a really good / important client so don't want to have any bad blood even if it's just with the accounting department and not the people I usually deal with. Will suck it up. Main thing is it doesn't feature in my tax returns which will help.

Looking at replacing the back door of the garage...currently a upvc with window. Looking at a steel door window (need the light!). Any drawbacks?

• #100520
cheers, still strange how the manufacturer thinks everyone wants (outdated or) MTB brakes on their new gravel bike
-
• #100521
thanks for the extra info, didn't find any calipers with hose attached & filled yet
-
• #100522
As a lawyer, I would disagree. Spending it would be frowned upon. Keeping it safe until they ask for it back would be considered perfectly fine. Telling them about would get you a gold star, but would be legally unnecessary.

• #100523
Or manufacturer can't be fucked to update the design for modern components?
-
• #100524
What about the legality of making interest on it while it rests in your account?
-
• #100525
A more difficult point, but I'd say they're entitled to any interest earned based on the landmark IRC v. Sempra Metals case.
Cheers, that's what I went with.
