I pondered the same and opted for the Inspiron as it's about £300 cheaper.
Identical spec as the non-XPS Inspiron 7391, minus the tablet/hinge stuff.
If I were going XPS then I'd probably plump for the newest 2-in-1. Not because I particularly care about the touchscreen, but it has the slightly better chips (1065G7 vs 10510u), much better graphics (Iris 650 apparently twice as quick as 620. Albeit neither are gaming chips) and slightly higher res (1920x1200 rather than 1920x1080)
