did the UK not spy on Germany some time ago?
Don't know about the UK but there was a suggestion that the US hacked Merkel's phone.

Centerist dad Behr really outdoes himself with that article

I thought it was a really thought provoking article.

I suppose it is a step up from comparing Corbyn to a chicken...

As usual, this stuff is so over the top and wacky that I kind of want one, ironically. Same as those 'UK Independence Day' t-shirts that were linked on the forum a while back, the ones that had the original March 29th date on them.

God. It's so fucking sad.

Yes but how absorbent is it? Printed tea towels are all well and good but if they're no good for drying things then what's the point of them?
-
• #26192
Decoration?
Representation of Brexit?
Promises to do something, is useless for something. -
• #26193
then what's the point of them?
stick it in a frame and add it to the live laugh love wall natch
-
• #26194
Surely useless jingoism with no functionality or practicality is THE essence of "get brexit done"? ... a non drying tea towel would fit perfectly :p

A lovely summary of all of the ways we know of that travel in the EU will become more difficult / shitter:

Staff are literally clearing desks today. One of them sent me this. She's worked for Labour MEPs for over twenty years. Sad times. No tea towel for me.

I saw some posts about it, people are very sad.
I read the other MEPs from the remaining EU countries were very supportive. (the person posting was talking about the group Labour is sitting with)
Does she know what she is going to do now? She lost her job too, or could they move her to another role?

who wants a "got Brexit done" Boris tea towel
Tradwives are going to love that shit.

I found out that's "a thing" this week.
And yeah they probably love it if the movement is indeed as described by one column I read.

Yeah. She's going to remain in Brussels, take a holiday and go back working for the EU whilst negotiations take place with the UK. She's planning a move back to the UK in a couple of years time (whether or not Brexit is 'done').
Oh wow. Didn't not know that.
