I found the Monster iSport headphones to be pretty good. Still have a working pair (Victory) from 2013 that have survived plenty of running and general use.
Looks like they've shut up shop, but you can still pick them up from Amazon.

Thanks for the suggestion. Found a NOS pair on ebay for ~£12.
Decent. Very bassy. From a shake of the head they seem stable. Bit of pressure after a while, so probably not for people who run for hours, but probably fine for a gym sesh. Mic is very small and not an issue, although we'll see when I'm running. Looking fwd to see what they're like when I'm sweaty.
Does anyone have a recommendation for sports headphones?
Currently using some old wrap-around-the-head-and-over-the-ear Sonys with a iPod Shuffle. Pretty shit sound but don't block out background noise at all.
