Motor vehicles / cars crashing into buildings

Placement of that planter tbf looks daft. Its around 1.5 car lengths from a give way junction. Can imagine maby near misses as vehicles come in and out of that junction.
My favourite is when councils fit large aggressive speed bumps 0.5m behind the give way line. Going out the junction great it forces folk to slow down/look before they pull out into traffic in bottom of second gear.
But on the way into the junction it severely limits the opportunities for safely turning in, as you have to stop, 1st gear and crawl over the massive things (which then leaves half your car blocking the carriageway and impeding other traffic).
