Heh. I used to use a pair in TT’s. I also used to race a trike and was out on it one evening to meet up with a pal in Edmonton for a training ride sometime in winter. I pulled up inbetween some parked cars to do a u-turn and I just rolled over on the camber and went tits up. I was clipped into the M71’s and couldn’t reach the lever, couldn’t pull my feet out of the shoes and couldn’t right myself. I had to wait for about 5 minutes until a old guy walking his dog came along and pushed the lever for me. Much embarrassed.
Edit: just found the very pedals in the shop display cabinet. You can’t see it, but I drilled the end plates out. Happy days!
