Not quite an eBay shenanigans hence post here.
Very simple (I think).
Someone bought some wheels from me (were brand new in box). Messaged a cpl weeks later saying that they were faulty (uneven bearings?) and though there was no play in freehub the cassette rocked when he was trying to set up and that the gears couldn't be set up properly.
He maintained he was a mechanical whizz and was doing everything right (he was setting up 9sp on 11sp hub so I enquired about spacer etc). Anyway, in good faith, I asked him to return and I'd refund if faulty. He returned (now a not fresh pair of wheels with spacer/leaflets, albeit not obviously used although a little marking on rim from trying to set up) and lo and behold they're completely sound and 90 seconds was all it took for my LBS to confirm they're absolutely sound when I went for a second opinion. He paid goods/services so can get his return postage back and I've offered to refund the cost of wheels (less my postage) which I think is perfectly reasonable - or, at my expense, re-send to him. Anyway, a few days have passed and nothing back from him! Shall I just refund his money less my postage cost and forget about it? I take it if he involves PayPal they'll see I've already refunded him?
