An aside, but my mum recently invoked Le Creusets lifetime guarantee on one of their large casserole pots. She couldn't remember where she'd bought it, probably somewhere in France maybe 30-40 years ago and had no proof of purchase. After a few easily answered questions they agreed to replacement. The new one arrived yesterday! Epic win for mum.
