Why can’t Rolex bring out more models with either sword or baton hands? I hate the Mercedes hands.

I really like those sword hands!

Do sneaker collectors buy sizes that wouldn’t fit ?
Always wondered
Same.
Are all of yours the right size? Or do you allow yourself a size either way? Or do you just buy size 9 or whatever the most common size is? Or size 7 to resell to rich Chinese students?

Off tangent to your fancy analogues.
I need a decent digital with timer. I love my Garmin Fenix 3, but it's huge, for just that function.
I bought a classic casio but the buttons are fiddly and it's a bit shit.Any suggestions on something light, big screen, easy to use buttons? Vibration would be good, but I guess I get a lot of extra weight for that.

G shock would be my go to.
Vibrating ones exist but aren't super common.Gd350 I think has vibration alerts.
Seen reverse screen ones (dark display) might be positive display ones out there, or it is doable yo'self with polarisation film. -

I'd look on Amazon. Casio or Citizen sports watches.
I had a waveceptor(?) Casio, small but big clear display with nice big buttons - think all in the range have buttons usable when wet. Strap broke, so now I used a Citizen made Q&Q G-Shock clone. Nice big pushers, big but not silly screen.

That's what I got. I find the buttons difficult to use. And the bigger G-Shocks are too bulky.
I am opposed to buying a forerunner just for timer, but perhaps that's what I desire.
Shit buttons (I bought this)
Too bulky. I bought the Gd350 but it was big, for a little screen
I had this for a while, but it looks naff and it broke after a year, but was good function

Casio Pro-Trek have nice big buttons and a good sized screen and are more G-Shock levels of toughness. Personally I find they don't wear that big but your mileage may vary

Bought my nephew a Baby-G G-LIDE for his 9th birthday:
He is into paddle boarding and lives by the sea, so I hope he likes the tide function!

My Waveceptor was similar design.
Current looks more like the pro-trek above. IME the big knurled style pushers are the best in a sport context, so I'd look for models with those, but ideally normalish straps that can be replaced when the sweat destroys them. The problem with a lot of G-shocks TMI on display and hands instead of a full digi display.

big bucks for them

thanks i'll check them all.
My other bane with the casio si the back light stays on for 3 seconds, which is useless. How do you set the timer time in the dark. Give me 15 seconds or 30!Edit: I am just going to buy a forerunner 35. It's more that I'd like to spend on a function watch, but does everything I need.

Anybody know of anyone / anywhere that would be interested in a AP Royal Oak offshore “Tour Auto” limited edition?
I have a client looking to off load and it’s a bit out of my comfort zone .
I haven’t a scooby about what it’s worth. -

Mine was about £100 but they may have gone up since then.
If you're looking cheap then some form of Timex like this one for £35 is probably it

What inchpincher said. Worth pointing out that there are at least two or three of them in the first picture you posted (bottom row). Maybe more, can’t see the hands clearly enough.
