If they're already using Chrome they won't need to learn anything, if they're using a different browser then it will be almost identical in function to Chrome and a very minor change.
Nearly everything everyone does on a computer is in a browser these days. If they actually need to run software other than a browser then obviously a Chromebook won't work.
