  • Ah i got you now - i think most of the caad 2s and 3s had quills (this one is a caad 3). My brother has a casd4 (see below) that uses an ahead already
    Edit

  • nah, the Caad3 was a quill stem.

smash on some soma hwy one of deda piega for compact drops

  • Yeah it’s just really, really old. Such an anachronism with the carbon fork.

  • Yeah thats what i was thinking, too

But choosing between non-OG fork and quill i‘d rather go for the quill (i think)

  • Thanks! Nice idea re chain and bars

Stem would be great with removable front plate

  • I’m not really into gravel but an alloy Slate frame popped up locally for €175 and wondering if it’s a good price.
Also does not come with a fork and trying to figure out what my options are for something rigid.

  • Just get an Arkose.

  • But it would expand the obsession nicely next to my Caad10’s, Supersix and M600...

  • ...Got a picture of your M600?

  • Just get a Topstone and pay extra for the Cannondale sticker

  • KMC gold chain.

I snapped one of these last week. First chain I've ever snapped, most expensive chain I've ever bought.

  • #toomanywatts

in contrast I use the gold KMC X11-SL on one bike and have never snapped one

  • I have one that is nearly 10 years old. Not on a high mileage bike, but still...

  • Quick question for the group. Anyone know where I can a set of the stickers / decals for a 2019 supersix evo? I’m looking to get a custom color way made up and I need a base template to give to my friend to get the sizing right.

  • It lives the life of a full time dadbike 1x commuter, only pic I could find does not show the complete bike but you get the idea.

(No, I do not ride with my daughter in the Wald. This was just a quick walk from where our bikes were parked to an other shop. She usually has the luxury of a Bullit or a bulldog seat on the M600. This was top lol's though.)

  • Winning at Dadding

  • That looks great and is pretty much what I'm aiming for with mine!

Are those 65mm SKS guards (and what size tyres do you think you could get under them?

And did you pay up for the better Cube rack instead of getting one of the 6 quid Chinese versions?

  • Oops, accidentally bought this (sellers pic) with a speculative offer on eBay!

Will obviously be doing a full rebuild, SRAM Red etc...

  • I am running Maxxis DTH 2.15 with 60mm Bluemels, wider tires and guards could work but would be tight. Will be switching to 60mm GB guards, other tires and dynamo setup next winter tough.

The rack is indeed the Cube RFR, nice and solid, would recommend!

  • What size is your frame?

  • Seller said 52cm, but I’m not sure if that is the frame size, or a rough measurement either TT, or ST c-c / c-t. Took a punt anyway cos I’m quite small, 52cm c-t is the upper limit for a size I can ride. I thought it was too good to miss, it’s such a great frame and looks to be in excellent condition. I will post updates, and if it’s too big I will advertise it for sale here!

  • Hope it wks out for you looks like a great bike.

  • Have a good lead on a deep purple CAAD12 105 (rim). It's a 54cm frame, and I'm not sure it'll fit me – I'm 181cm tall with 82cm inseam. Will that result in too little reach and a crazy bend? Thanks all!
