  • Really like the 1st and 3rd!

  • Life has been hectic, but the Rollei is a low level form of meditation for me. Love that camera.

Been offered a Hassleblad and the option to pay it up.... very tempted!

  • Been offered a Hassleblad

    ..what kind?
    Have you ever used one?

  • Cheers,
Back in again last night - quite happy with a couple of my prints. Deffo noticing the difference a good negative makes when it comes to printing.
Hoping to use that feedback to get it all locked down a bit better.

  • The details.....Hi, I will gather all the details for you and get back to you properly
    It's a 500c/m
70, 110 and 40mm lenses. Glass is pristine.
2 x backs (I'd be looking to replace them at some point, but are light tight.
Camera would benefit from being re leathered. Either do it yourself or professionally (cameramatics Edinburgh)
    Polaroid backs
    Dioptor - chimney and prism
    Leather case
    Leather lens case
    Straps,
    Flash attachment
    Adjustable lens hood.
    Other bits and bobs

  • It's a 500c/m

If you've got the time and like to read up a bit about the system I do recommend Karen Nakamura's pages, you find them here: http://photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/Hasselblad500.html
Quite "oldschool" as you will quickly notice, but she knows her stuff and knows the details, plus frankly a lot easier on the stomach than Rockwell
    : D

  • Great reading, thanks

  • Mini bike packing tour, two days from Dunkeld to Aberfeldy and back over Griffin windfarm.

Including my 64 year old dad on his e-mtb.

  • You're welcome!

Nice photos, second and third to last are my favourites, looks like a nice trip..
..also never heard of that film, looks almost special effects like!

  • Number 3 is a banger!

  • Couple more from the darkroom.
Both on tmax 400 on ilford multi grade.
Pine Creek Canyon in Nevada and Angel’s Landing in Utah. Both shot in 2011.

  • Yes mate, these are fantastic prints!

  • Wow! Love the second

  • Both incredible! A massive print of each of those would look great.

  • Echoing the praise, they’re really nice.

Must be great being able to revisit photos in the darkroom

  • Cheers all, deffo makes me want to hit the road and shoot more.

  • A few more bike shots :)

  • That's really really nice

  • Yea that's lovely, it's irking me that the whole image is leaning to the right though.

  • Me too but the camera was vertical.....

  • Fair enough, but what's more important - having an image that feels balanced to the viewer or shooting it with the camera "vertical" and then leaving it, no matter what?
