Front guard is as close as it gets, will find a way to extend the clip on the fork crown as it's not very functional. A mending plate should do it.
Tried to mount the rack on the QR as nature intended but clashes with the guards... Should try harder.
Could drill some holes higher up to make it lower? That or get a cargo classic and move the disco to another bike. It was was a bargain thanks to @amey. -
It’s fine, gap should be bigger there than by the flap.

Yeah, the mudguard gap at the front needs to be addressed too.
