This is the knife porn thread

Beautiful objects but I just don't see the point... And I'm as guilty as the next person when it comes to fetishising inanimate objects... I know it's been very carefully and lovingly crafted but what is that knife's function? Would that be an average person's daily driver? Would it ever see any use? Or is it just a rich person's bauble? Or is it art? Just questions, nothing more...

How is it for opening tins of paint?

OOF!

Amazing. Allegedly. About as good as a McLaren for the shopping trip. Or a faberge egg for an omelette.

Not sure if cheapest price, but if folks are near a Cotswolds the Green safety no.7 is reduced.

There is a reason that YOU could be the first person to review the Rockstead knife. I have a mate whose engraving adds a minimum of £8k to the value of a shotgun, he wouldn't buy one himself.

If anybody had any suggestions for a nice hand made japanese knife that is similar sized to the Rockstead kneckers I'd be very grateful.
I think the only reason why Jana wants Rockstead is because its the only one she has seen that she likes but hasn't see any others!

Tbh, Japanese could be negotiable too

Am thinking that this isn't knife porn as it is a work object.
Seems like there is something going on in this thread which feels like jealousy or hate of someones ownership.

Does he do mates rates? Got some shitty shooters that could do with a price bump....

Google handmade Kiridashi.

I bough one of these as a gift, serves the same function, is exquisitely made, japanese, legal carry. They do several options with mother of pearl, wood and stuff for handles

Sure, for £4k , for another £50 I'll saw off the barrels and you can reclaim your investment at a high street bank.

Funnily, I really think a knife needs to be a daily. EDC in the true sense.
I had an Onterio Rat ii for years. Fucking loved it. Did everything. Fucking amazing.

Do you know how much the average bank robber gets?

My Soldier is always in my pocket, I've tried to rotate one of my many other knives but they never get a look in... I feel lost without it...

Nice EDC... So assume that if caught carrying this in the UK, they'd have grounds to harass you? Even though its a non locking short blade
