Dave, the guy that designed all the cabinets always specs 15mm birch ply, I happened to have half a sheet knocking around too. The baffles are my own addition though - 30mm English sycamore. Bit worried the drivers will be “crowded” by the thickness, though I have chamfered the back of the cut out. The timber will look stunning when it’s sanded and oiled, trade off between form and function.

Why ply and not mdf? Just curious, I'd read somewhere that it works better for such boxes.
