I ordered a helmet from Wiggle on the 5th that went AWOL. After multiple kickings by me, Wiggle finally prodded Hermes into finding the damn thing at their depot. It finally arrived on the 21st. No address issues, just Hermes.
I am at the point where I would pay for a premium to not choose Hermes.
£5 for Royal Mail > free Hermes
Tried to buy a helmet recently. Wiggle are using Hermes as a courier, who are nobs. It turns out that Hermes have an issue receiving addresses from Wiggle's ordering system, so my work address:
Spxtz
Room 509
University Building
Street
City
Postcode
appeared on the package as:
Spxtz
Room 509
City
and I couldn't update it myself, as I'm not Hermes' customer, Wiggle is. They had to send a replacement helmet in the end as the previous package is considered 'lost in the post'. So it took a whole extra week, what with waiting for Wiggle to exhaust Hermes options. They used Hermes for the replacement express delivery too, so obviously their service improves when you're paying premium rate.
The helmet was too big in the end, and the return was very smooth although I had to pay for postage myself as the item wasn't faulty. I kept the Haribo.
