right now, ours is a traditional up and over type which protrudes into the (small) garage about 5'8" off the floor, making it difficult to keep anything in the first metre or so of the space.
the obvious solution is an outwards-opening door type. i have learned to day that this is called a side-hinged door and i'd probably get the 1/3-2/3 type with a pedestrian door in. the garage won't be used for a car.
but then i read about some security concerns. anybody know anything about any of this?
