• Has anyone insulated their asgard shed? In the winter my saddles get mouldy with the amount of condensation in there, which is a bit grim.

  • Even my garage (connected to the house but not heated independently) seems to get a bit damp in winter - has a cycling cap hanging that’s got mouldy and a Brooks that’s got mouldy - would be interested if there’s a solution but guessing not. Concerned about bikes/components stored in there getting rusty etc. Noticed some relatively new brifters has a rusty bit inside this week.

  • a dehumidifier?

  • There should really be no such problem in a brickbuilt garage. Condensation problem points towards bad air circulation, in layman terms you need an airing brick or other means of air exchange. Think of all those Victorian stock houses which had chimney breasts removed, floors covered in laminate and double glazing installed and are literally rotting away. Opening garage doors once a week for few minutes should also help.
