Have you ridden that frame with another set-up, or any other Alan?

I’ve ridden a Peugeot badged bonded al frame, and a Vitus. I also had a beauty of an Alan super record in black years ago but never built it and had to sell it due to a house move... I hate letting frames go that I’ve not ridden and so I want to get this on the road before admitting it’s a wet noodle etc... I’m basically building it with stuff I want to keep hold of so I can clear out the garage...

I don't know how they ride, but I do wonder if it's worth getting the money gun out, that's all. If it works for you then by all means have fun putting it all together with expensive parts. I'm all for MGOOF in general.
