• Wasn't there an Eddy Merckx Corsa with Di2 on here a while ago?

    Have thought about doing it with my "neo-retro" Vitus 979, but taped cables on the outside of the frame put me off. The fork on that Alan could be drilled the get things internal, but don't think the battery would fit in the seatpost?

  • You could maybe cable it into the hole of where the barrel adjuster is? And then route it back out of where the BB cable guides are

  • I was planning on running it all external, I’ve got the older 6780 group with 6880 mechs and external battery.

    Cables from shifters meet at junction box A (attaches to front brake cable outer) and become one cable than would run through the NDS gear shifter cover with barrel adjuster removed, cable meets junction box B under BB shell (in place of cable guide) and cables run up behind BB between chain stays to battery in second bottle cage location and to front mech and one cable runs along drive side chain stay, through cable guide (maybe with some gromit as a wedge) to rear mech... πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

    Doubt an internal battery would fit in the 25mm seatpost, and the fork is full carbon so won’t be messing with it... swapped out original forks as they had crossed threads and these are spare at the moment.
