anyone here pushed portra 160 or 400?
-
• #20653
I did.

400 pushed is functionally equivalent to the portra 800 emulsion.
160 pushes ok too. -

Tried 400 pushed two stops and got colour shifts

As much as I'd love the wooden handle for it, I really don't think I'd use it. I can't see myself using a flash with this camera and I'm not sure £150 for a second hand bit of wood to make it a bit easier to hold is worth it. They do look very nice though...

a second hand bit of wood
It’s Artisanal tho. But yeah, fuck carpenters and their second yachts ;)
The 67 is a BEAST but doesn’t your left hand sit under the body/lens when shooting those anyway? Just like a supersized SLR … a ‘Texas K1000’ if you like?

I've very rarely used it without a tripod to be honest. It does feel like a massive SLR to hold but it's so bulky and heavy. It's an absolute tank!

I have bought a 3d printed grip from ebay, works really well.

P67 is absolutely fine to use handheld down to 1/60 or below if your technique is good.
yes, it makes a loud noise, but the vibration is not a big deal. the noise is also after the shutter closes, so non-irrelevant. -

no, I want to see YOUR results

Not the best photo in the world, but you get the idea. Colours have shifted and shadow detail drops way off. Reminds me of badly exposed Velvia.
I shoot Lomo 800 now if I want faster than 400ISO for colour

you have not metered this shot correctly.
it's negative film: you meter for the shadows not the highlights. -

This sort of thing? I've used the 6x7 handheld in the past. Just prefer not to!

More messing about with XP2. Should probably have developed these to find an entry for this week's photo contest thing!

Latest darkroom efforts.
Very nice, these really make me miss real prints.
Also like the Rollei portraits @mi7rennie - good to see you shooting again!
