• Update: I have none! Might be the first part which never arrived here, or it takes longer than it should take – it looks like from the tracking info that it was sent back to China.

What I ordered right now is a 'SPCYCLE' fork, with 12mm thru axle and flat mount; looks really OK just by the looks, or I like its style (not like these super fat forks):

  • Does anyone have experiences with a fairly portable electric bike pump like this one?

  • F-Oakley Sutro have arrived.

I always order from 2x different seller to see which replica is the most convincing.
    This is the first lot.

I will look at both lots in details when they arrive. And report!

  • Can the lenses be swapped easily?

  • That I can't tell you right now but since they come with 2x spares each, I would imagine that it is straightforward.

I will be reselling at cost the ones I don't need.

  • Obviously not the same model but I have some Ali flight jackets and the lenses are no harder to change than the real thing.

  • I have some of those. Can’t say whether they’re exactly the same or not but changing lenses on them is doable but a massive pain because the frames don’t come apart like they do on jawbreakers. Also the logo plates on the arms came off and got lost almost immediately.

  • That's why I hate my Flight Jacket knockoffs. The leg on my Jawbreaker copy broke and I can't find the exact copies anymore on AliX. Considering getting a real one now.

  • haha I had exactly the same experience. logo plates gone. cool glasses though

  • My knock offs are for winter months as I'd rather scratch 10 euro glasses than full price Oakley. That said, not sure I'd buy another pair of real oakleys as I don't know that I miss anything from them when I'm using the ali version.

  • I have now received the second lot of Faux-kley Sutro.

The second lot is much better in term of feel/quality. You would be hard pushed to know they are replicas.

Frame is matt instead of shiny.
Sutro is embossed on the on the arm.

In short, the ones to buy.
Unfortunately the item has been taken down but that's the seller:

  • Sorry I should have updated the post.
Both pairs of blue n red have been "reserved".

I will keep you updated if they do not get picked this week.

I will also sell my "old" 100% replica glasses if that's something you are interested in.

  • Cheap and light carbon frame for a hill climb bike - any recommendations, or do you think I'd do better going 2nd hand and known maker rather than unknown crabonz?

Light, stiff and cheap, I'm looking for. So not asking for much...

  • Light, stiff and cheap

That's the tester bat signal, isn't it?

  • I'd also take a pair if they don't get picked up and you can post. Can you link to where you got these ones?

  • hill climb bike

First calculate the time saving you'll achieve by lightening the frame by 2kg, which is about the difference between a very light crabon frame/fork and a common butted steel one from the 1950s or later. About 1s per 100 vertical feet on a 20% slope, a bit less if it's a longer shallower climb. Is that enough to justify the expense?

  • Hong Fu FM066-SL if they still make them.

  • That's the tester bat signal, isn't it?

    I thought it was the marketing tag for a CAAD10 CAAD12 🙂

  • link to where you got these

Links got nuked. But if you type Sutro in AliExpress, more will come up.

All glasses should be picked up tomorrow but I will let you know if it doesn't happen
