Am sorely tempted by the Reynolds but suspect it might be a very long wait to come across a matching rear

Same dilemma for me, great wheel, but ended up buying a pair rather than waiting - expensive solution

Listing the Zipps individually as they are not a matched pair, I bought them seperately, used them together, and would sell as pair for less. Meet Central or post at cost.
Zipp rear 404 tubular, Campag 11 freehub, 24 bladed straight pull spokes. Includes brand new Vredestein Freccia tub and valve extender, fitted for photo but not glued. Bearings are super smooth, and rim is straight and undamaged. Brake track is virtually unmarked (always used with correct pads). I think this is what they call Firecrest rim pattern but not certain. £275
Zipp front 404 tubular, 28h CXRay Sapim bladed spokes. Includes brand new Vittoria tub and valve extender, not glued. Hub bearings smooth and rim straight and undamaged. The guy I bought from said it was a new rim, and once again the brake track is virtually unmarked. This is an older version of the 404 pattern, still with the dimples but not as pronounced as the rear one. £175
Rim depth on both the Zipps is the same 57mm.
