yes very much this. spoke to four different crowds re the little fiat but when I explained my other vehicle was a push bike it was a no go.
I have kinda got a second ordinary car now. it's main use will be to open me up to wider insurance options for the fiat. already grabbed a couple of hundred quid back from admiral now it is garaged and not in London's famous London anymore.

My experience is that a classic had to be your second/n+1 car to qualify for classic insurance.
